Welcome to the Blush Blooms FAQs. Here you’ll find answers about our UK-wide flower delivery, local Stonehaven orders, Aberdeenshire wedding flowers, gifts, and visiting our florist shop.
Ordering & Delivery
Yes, we deliver fresh flowers across the UK (excluding some postcodes) using Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48. All flower orders are sent with Tracked 24, which aims to arrive the next day but can sometimes take up to 2 days. Orders placed by 2pm (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day.
Our local delivery area is within a 5km radius of our shop in Stonehaven. Local delivery is £3.95. We plan to increase this area in the future, and if you’re nearby but outside the radius — for example Portlethen, Inverbervie, Chapelton, Newtonhill or Muchalls — please call us on 07356 258680 and we’ll do our best to help.
- Local delivery (within 5km of Stonehaven) – £3.95
- UK Shipping – Starting at £3.95
- UK-wide Royal Mail orders – order by 2pm (Monday to Friday) for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the next working day.
- Local Stonehaven deliveries – order by 12pm (Tuesday to Saturday) for same-day delivery. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the next day.
Local deliveries in Stonehaven are made Tuesday to Saturday. UK-wide orders are dispatched Monday to Friday by Royal Mail and delivered Tuesday to Saturday. Royal Mail Tracked 24 aims to arrive the next day but can sometimes take up to 2 days. Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually arrives within 2 working days.
Yes. For local deliveries you can select a specific date at checkout (Tuesday to Saturday). For UK-wide orders, you can also choose a preferred delivery date (Tuesday to Saturday). Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday by Royal Mail. Flower orders are always sent with Tracked 24, which aims to deliver next day but can take up to 2 days. Gifts-only orders can be sent with Tracked 24 or Tracked 48.
Yes, once your bouquet has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number.
Please leave any delivery instructions and your preferred safe spot at checkout so we can pass them on to Royal Mail.
It happens! Let us know as quickly as possible. If the order hasn’t left us yet, we can usually fix it. Once it’s with Royal Mail, changes aren’t guaranteed.
No, our delivery days are Tuesday to Saturday.
Our Flowers
- Fresh Picks – choose your palette (Bright & Colourful or Neutral & Elegant), and our florists will design something unique with the best seasonal stems.
- Luxe Bespoke Bouquet – tell us your favourite flowers, colours, or style, and we’ll create a one-of-a-kind bouquet. Luxe Bouquets are available for local delivery or collection only. If you’d like us to include specific flowers, please place your order at least two days in advance so we can source them specially.
We buy from reputable wholesalers to ensure the freshest seasonal blooms, and we also support Scottish and UK growers as much as possible throughout the year. Our aim is to bring you the best of what’s in season, while keeping quality and sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
Yes, every bouquet includes simple flower care tips.
With fresh water and a trim every few days, most bouquets last 5–7 days. Some stems, like tulips, fade sooner, while others (like chrysanthemums) will last longer.
We'll be launching a dried flower collection soon.
Always! Every bouquet is hand-tied and wrapped beautifully – ready to gift (or to treat yourself).
Packaging & Presentation
- Local deliveries & collections – Bouquets are presented in a decorative cardboard living vase with water. Fresh eucalyptus is wrapped in paper.
- UK-wide deliveries – For flowers sent by Royal Mail, we use sturdy delivery boxes with a built-in water source. Fresh eucalyptus is wrapped and shipped securely in its own box or alongside other items.
We also use recycled and recyclable packaging wherever possible, because beautiful flowers shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet.
We don’t offer traditional gift wrap, but all flowers and gifts are packaged securely and presented beautifully. If gifts are ordered with flowers, they’ll travel safely in the same box.
Every bouquet includes a complimentary message card – just add your note when selecting the bouquet. If you choose one of our greetings cards, you’ll also have the option to personalise it with your own message on the product page, as well as include what you’d like written on the envelope.
Weddings & Events
We don’t have a strict cut-off. Ideally, get in touch as early as possible – but we’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute hitches.
We don’t currently have a fixed elopement package, but we do provide bespoke elopement flowers for intimate weddings in Scotland and beyond.
Absolutely. We’ll design a personalised proposal tailored to your style, colours, and budget – from bridal bouquets to full wedding flower arrangements in Aberdeenshire and across Scotland.
We personally deliver most wedding flowers across Aberdeenshire and nearby areas. For weddings further afield, we’re happy to discuss delivery options on a case-by-case basis.
In-store
Fresh flowers, hand-tied bouquets, homewares, gifts, and cards – plus coffee, matcha, pastries, and cake to take away.
Yes, iced coffee, matcha, and other quick pick-me-ups are available Tuesday to Saturday.
There’s free on-street parking throughout Stonehaven, and a paid car park in the town square just a short walk away.
Subscriptions & Gifts
We’ll be launching subscription flowers soon – with weekly, fortnightly, and monthly delivery options available across the UK.
Definitely. Choose from a selection including candles, chocolates, or homewares to send along with your bouquet.
We don’t offer traditional gift wrap, but bouquets are wrapped beautifully and gifts come ready to give.
Gift Cards
Yes, we offer both digital and physical gift cards.
Digital gift cards are sent instantly by email and include a unique code that can be used online or in-store.
Physical gift cards can be purchased in-store or posted via Royal Mail. If you order a gift card with flowers or gifts, we’ll tuck it safely inside the delivery box.
Payments & Ordering
We accept all major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, and Shopify Pay at checkout.
If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we’ll do our best to help – just get in touch as soon as possible. Once flowers are on their way, we aren’t usually able to make changes or cancellations.
We want every bouquet to feel special. If your flowers arrive damaged, or you’re not happy with them for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours with a photo. We’ll always do our best to put it right – email us at hello@blushblooms.co.uk with your order number and a brief description so we can help quickly.
Yes – whether it’s staff gifts, client thank-yous, or event flowers, we can help. We provide custom quotes for corporate flower orders across Aberdeenshire and the UK.
